So, you are a line dancer!

 Benidorm, during the Autumn/Winter months, is the place to come to if you do enjoy line dancing!

Here, on this page you will find details of line dance venues in Benidorm which we are sure you will

find informative. If you enjoy linedancing you can rest assured there are

places to go where you can either simply dance or learn the latest steps!

We highly recommend the RED DOG WESTERN SALOON in Benidorm. This is a must for any line dancer, or anybody who enjoys the atmosphere of a Country and Western Bar, a fantastic night out. It will open EVERY NIGHT from AROUND the 1st OCTOBER 2009 until Mid-May 2010 (date to be confirmed) for a line dance social from 8pm, the music caters for all levels, beginners to intermediate/advanced, with a huge variety of dances being played, new and old, modern and country.

Unfortunately, during the Summer Months Line Dancing at The Red Dog does not take place

The Saloon is a great place to spend the evening, decorated in typical American Western style. The barmen are often seen joining in on the dance floor too. This is a very friendly Saloon, popular with Benidorms ex-pat community of line dancers and holiday-makers alike. Everybody is welcome! Parents with children are asked to keep the kids off the dance floor, children are welcome but must be kept in order!!

From AROUND October 1st 2009, Ron, a Country and Western Singer will perform at the Red Dog every evening singing and playing older  original Country/Western line dance tracks, and will share the evening with the DJ who will play all the latest up to date dances, slow and fast! All requests are welcome

Line dancing takes place on a Sunday, Wednesday and Friday evening from 9.30pm to around Midnight, all requests welcome - from the oldest dance to the newest! Please note: During these evenings, dances are not taught - these are purely fun social nights.

Theres a large dance floor and a bar serving drinks and snacks. However, smoking here is not permitted.

To be close to the Red Dog Saloon we recommend staying in one of our apartments at nearby GEMELOS 2, 4 or 20, located literally just around the block, a few minutes walk. For the Ambassador Hotel, we have apartments at GEMELOS 22 just a short stroll away. We can also make reservations directly with the Hotel Ambassador!

The Winter months (from OCTOBER to Mid May) are the BEST months for linedancing in Benidorm. There are more venues operating during the "winter". During the Summer Months, SOME Hotels offer Linedancing BUT cannot be guaranteed (depends on numbers)

 Top UK Choreographer & Instructor (Crystal Boots Awards 2008)  Robbie McGowan Hickie, creator of many popular line dances including "Just a Kiss", "Walking Backwards","Vertical Expression" & more recently the popular floorfiller & award winning linedance "A Gigalo" came to Benidorm and hosted an afternoon of line dancing at the Hotel Rialto.
