La Cala Finestrat is just a ten minute bus/taxi ride from central Levante but offers a quiter holiday than Benidorm itself, with families enjoying annual holidays here. The soft beach is safe for children, with a gentle slope into the water.

Lots of restaurants (English, Irish, Spanish), cafes, shops (including chemist, gift shops, tobacco, lottery, grocers) bars, banks and taxi and bus stops.

La Cala Finestrat is NOT a loud "young" resort with nightclubs and noisy discos - for this you need to head into Levante by taxi or bus.

La Cala Finestrat has a huge street market every Tuesday and Friday

Carrafour, the big French hypermarket, is a 5 minute ride from La Cala, along with McDonalds, Burger King, a petrol garage, the La Marina Shopping Mall and the 10 pin bowling. The rooftop of the La Marina Mall is a huge outdoor kids play paradise with lots of ball ponds, rides, bouncy castles, mini golfs etc!

Benidorm, with all that it offers, is only "up the road", around 10 minutes in a taxi or on a bus, which costs 1.25 euro.
