La Cala Finestrat bay has a lovely soft sandy beach and safe waters with a gentle slope into the crystal clear Mediteranean Sea. There are plenty of nice little street cafes and restaurants, gift shops and more around the Bay. Buses run regularly into Benidorm from La Cala at only 1.20 euro per person. A 1.5km ride from La Cala bay is the Carrefour large French hypermarket, Icelands english Frozen Food supermarket and La Marina Shopping Mall where you will also find McDonalds, Burger King, 10 pin bowling, shops galore and a huge rooftop kids play and fun centre.

La Cala makes an ideal alternative to Benidorm, for those seeking a holiday just a little quieter but with everything to hand. On a Tuesday and Friday La Cala has a huge street market, selling everything from clothes and shoes to fruit and veg!
