Short term rental - General terms and conditions version 3.2 Within 7 days after receipt of your reservation/booking, you normally receive a confirmation from Costa Blanca Apartments (CBA). A reservation deposit, 30% - 80% (depends on type of holiday home and date of booking versus arrival)of the total rent, is payable within 7 days of reservation. You will receive the bank details with your reservation confirmation. Administration and bookings costs are 25 Euro. Bank charges on second payment with credit cards are 4%. At the moment of booking the then applicable rental price applies. A change in reservation is only possible after written consent of CBA. In this case, administration costs do apply. Refunds are not possible. Please arrange for your own cancellation insurance. Final payment is required, no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival. Again, no refund is possible. If your rest payment has not arrived 6 weeks prior to arrival, an interest surcharge of 3% of the outstanding amount applies. Your reservation will be confirmed in writing (email or otherwise). The price does include bed linen, towels and all other household linen unless mentioned otherwise. During a longer stay, the (hired) linen will not be changed by the proprietor, unless confirmed otherwise. There are washing machines present. You can also bring your own linen. A letter box is NOT part of the rental. Only with permissin of CBA a letter box can be used, if possible. Mail for tenants can always being send to the postal address of CBA. Electricity, water and heating are normally included in the price unless mentioned otherwise (depends on type of holiday home and period). Should the usage be above average, an extra charge will apply. You will be informed about this before your departure. For the winter periods (Nov-March) electricity will be charged separately. If your stay is longer than 3 months the actual usage of electricity will be charged. EUR100 – 300 (depends on type of holiday home) security deposit is applicable, to cover loss or damage, breakages etc. Payable on cash on the spot (depends on type of holiday home)or with credit card. Charges for loss of keys are 50 EURO. Clients have to reports damages or mal functions within 48 hours after arrival. Without any reporting in this period CBA will consider the holiday home in good order and without mayor damages when the clients arrived. After checking the apartment on departure, and if there are no damages or loss, the security deposit will be refunded upon departure. On departure, the house, equipment and utensils must be left in a clean and tidy condition. This means, the floors must be swept clean, no crockery and plates is left dirty on the sink, the garbage has been deposited in the containers. Final cleaning costs: EUR 40 – 90 (depends on type of holiday home). Unless included (this will be specified in our quotation. Pets only allowed when confirmed beforehand, in writing (email). Occupancy per house higher than the number of beds by prior arrangement only. We cannot be responsible for loss or damage to valuables or personal property and we recommend you have the appropriate insurance cover in force during your holiday. The management may terminate occupancy if terms and conditions are not complied with. Benidorm and surrounding areas are very touristy and therefore may be busy, crowded and/or noisy. At the same time, there is a lot of building development in and around the city and other areas. Costa Blanca Apartments is not responsible for any noises of building activities in and around the apartment buildings. Neither is Costa Blanca Apartments responsible for any unfinished gardens or unfinished other amenities that are part of the complexes. Refunds are not applicable when this occurs. It can happen that swimming pools in Benidorm cannot be used from October until June. This depends on the apartment complex and may vary. The proprietors, management and employees of Costa Blanca Apartments shall not be liable nor will accept responsibility for any injury, loss or damage howsoever sustained by any person or persons whether arising under the express or implied terms of any rental agreement. In Spain, frequent fall outs of electricity and water may occur, more so than in your own country. When it is a general fall out, in the area or whole of the building, CBA will not be responsible. However, you can rest assured that the problem will be taken care off as soon as possible. In the event of breach of contract on the part of the proprietors of Costa Blanca Apartments howsoever arising any loss and/or damage including consequential loss sustained by the renter, shall be limited to the sum paid by the renter to the proprietors of Costa Blanca Apartments. Check-in and check-out times: standard arrival time is from 4 or 5 pm onwards, standard departure time 10 am, unless otherwise confirmed in writing or agreed upon differently during your stay. In case you use our airport transfer, and you cannot find our contact person in the arrival hall near the Farmacia (Chemist), make sure you always call the phone number of your contact person given to you in our confirmation. Or alternatively, call Costa Blanca Apartments on (0034) 66 19 36 420. DO NOT LEAVE THE AIRPORT. When you call our contact person, he/she may be able to locate you in the arrival hall. If you fail to do this, Costa Blanca Apartments has the right to charge you the full amount of the transfer costs confirmed, also when you decide to take a taxi of your own. These terms are accepted by guests the moment they remit a payment.
